Acted as Program Manager on $17M McKesson Horizon Clinicals "big bang"
implementation for the complete suite of clinical applications to
replace Cerner, managing and coordinating several project managers
for CHC with their McKesson counterparts.
Did turnaround work to get project pack on track, organized and implemented
PMI project management techniques.
Developed charters and project plans, educated stakeholders on the
project management practices and got project back on track by getting
sponsors and stakeholders invested in the process.

Architect - John Muir Health - EDI systems support
Development of reusable jobs and processes to
support electronic data interchange (EDI). Clean
up code which is not production ready and make
it production ready. Implementation and
maintenance of an EDI gateway and the associated
translation maps. Development and scripting with
languages such as Java, Perl, Basic.
OO development and refactoring of existing
code, upgrade existing systems to make them more
reliable. Worked with ANSI X12 formats and
trading partner implementation guides. Utilize
Windows O/S (2000, XP), mapping tools, XML and
database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server and /
or Sybase).

Led the design and architecture effort for new
entitlement rules to capture metrics about the service
order RMA process, comparing data gathered at the
time the order is opened against data that is determined
at the receipt of the returned part. |

Designed architecture for the Dynamic Entitlement
Verification Object (DEVO) to be used by the Customer
Advocacy group to verify service entitlement in

which can scale to new business opportunities.
Led the team in building the Service Agreement
Lookup Tool (SALT) using a MVC architecture consisting
of Java Server Pages to expose DEVO. This application
has become one of the most widely used applications
in Cisco.

Suite Company to provide a scalable architecture
that allows rapid development of web based calculators
interacting via XML with a proprietary back-end
system. System utilizes highly reusable code and

and model-view-controller. Delivered architectural
blueprint within three-week discovery phase, including
Rose UML diagrams and project plan. |
